Welcome to Bryn Mawr Elementary!

It is my pleasure and honor to continue serving as the principal of Bryn Mawr Elementary. As I enter this new school year with our wonderful community of learners, educators, and families, I do so with deep gratitude and renewed excitement for the journey ahead.

With over 20 years in education and nearly a decade in school leadership, I remain deeply committed to the transformative power of relationships. My path—from a young student raised by hardworking immigrant parents to becoming an educator and leader—has been shaped by the care, support, and guidance of mentors who believed in me. Those early connections with teachers and school leaders made a lasting impact, and they continue to inspire how I lead and serve today.

At Bryn Mawr, relationships are the foundation of our school culture. They create the conditions for trust, belonging, and academic success. As a school community, we will continue to build on our proud traditions while embracing new opportunities to grow, innovate, and support every student’s potential.

This year, we will stay focused on high levels of student achievement, foster a culture of respect and kindness, and celebrate the rich diversity that makes Bryn Mawr such a special place to learn and grow.

I look forward to another amazing year of partnership, progress, and shared purpose. I can’t wait to continue getting to know your children—and to working together to make this school year our best one yet.

Assistant Principal

Dear Bryn Mawr Families,

I am honored to serve as the Assistant Principal of Bryn Mawr Elementary School for the 2025-2026 school year. I am passionate about nurturing future leaders and creating a school environment where every student feels a strong sense of belonging and purpose.

As a proud mother of eight children and a parent in Redlands Unified for over 20 years, I bring a deep appreciation for the vital role families play in a child's education. I believe that when students feel safe, valued, and connected, they are empowered to grow into confident, compassionate individuals.

One of my favorite quotes by Fred Rogers is, "We all have different gifts, so we all have different ways of saying to the world who we are." This quote resonates deeply with my belief in honoring each child's individuality and supporting them as they grow in confidence, resilience, and their understanding of their unique place and purpose in the world.

I look forward to partnering with you to make this a joyful year for all our Blue Jays!

Warmly,

Wendy McClung
